      The Ruins of St. Paul's refer to the facade of the Church of Mater Dei built in 1602-1640, destroyed by fire in 1835, and the ruins of St. Paul's College, which stood adjacent to the Church. The remains of the old College of St. Paul stand witness to what was the first western-style university in the Far East, with an elaborate academic programme. Nowadays, the facade of the Ruins of St. Paul's functions symbolically as an altar to the city.

      Saint Dominic's Church was founded in 1587 by three Spanish Dominican priests; the church is also connected to the Brotherhood of Our Lady of the Rosary. The bell tower, at the back of the building, has been modified into a museum exhibiting a collection of around 300 artefacts.

      Guia Fortress was built in 1622. The fortress is located at the highest point of the Macao Peninsula overviewing the island. There is also a chapel and lighthouse along with the fortress. The Guia Lighthouse was built in 1864. It is the first morden lighthouse on the Chinese coast and it represents the geographical location of Macao on the world map.

      Macau Fisherman's Wharf is a 133,000m² park and the first-ever cultural, themed and creative attraction in the tourism industry of Macao. It is centrally located in the outer harbour and it is not purely a theme park, but also combines dining, shopping, entertainment, accommodation, convention and exhibition facilities in one single location which takes just a 5-minute walk from the Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal and Heliport.

      Historic Archives contains letters, books and manuscripts pertaining to Portugal's exploration and Macao's relations with Europe, China, Japan, and Southeast Asia from a wide variety of governmental, civic, ecclesiastic and private sources. The most valuable have been put on microfilm, including 7500 items dating from 1587 to 1786.
